Save a Trip to the Post Office – Use Flat Boxes

I had a shipment fits USPS free priority mail box 7″x7″x6″. The box was too large for the mail box. I had to drop it at the post office although I’m able to print shipping label online. It happened so many times.

Recently I found this trick. It saved me a lot of time.

USPS Priority Mail Box O-1097 fits in the USPS mail box. The dimention of the box is 11 1/2″ x 13 1/8″ x 2 3/8″. As usual, I just print the shipping lable online, attach to O-1097 and drop it the USPS mail box which is 2 blocks away.

Also, if you need to ship a package with regional box A, use A2 if you can. Same as O-1097, it’s flat shaped so you can drop it at any mail box.
