If you get home at 6 PM and the dinner time is set to 6:30 PM, this is your go-to dish. It’s so simple! Use the “quick rice” feature on your rice cooker, or the “rice” feature on your instant pot; and marinade shrimp for 15 minutes. Wash and steam some vegetables, then grill the shrimps and you’re all set.
Ingredients: peeled & deveined raw shrimp 2 lbs, 1/3 cup honey, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp minced garlic, a little bit minced ginger (optional), 1 tbsp cooking wine (optional), pepper, avocado oil.
Step 1. Thaw the shrimp in warm water. Meanwhile, prepare the marinade sauce.
Step 2. to make the marinade sauce, whisk together 1/3 cup honey, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp minced garlic, a little bit minced ginger, 1 tbsp cooking wine, and pepper.
Step 3. Squeeze the thawed shrimp to remove the water, put it into a medium bowl and pour the sauce into the bowl and marinade for 15 minutes.
Step 4. Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp to the skillet. Spread the shrimp, grill about 30-40 seconds then flip shrimp over, pour half of the marinade sauce over the shrimp and cook for 30-40 seconds more.
