Food for the Soul — Ikebana Inspired Flower Arrangement

These are not edible flowers, but I still consider them as food for the soul and they are included in my zone 5 edible garden.

A lot of plants came with the house but I added a little every year until I was able to produce my own flower bouquet! Below is the list of the perennial cutting flower plants that thrive in my garden. For those in List A, I have to apply Liquid Fence Deer Repellent once a month. List B: daffodil, dianthus fireswitch, lavender (edible), dianthus sweet William, hydrangea strawberry sundae, ostrich fern, asparagus (edible), cone flower, Shasta daisy, bamboo, Japanese forest grass.

I like minimalism since it frees up my time, space and money while still living the way I want to. Instead of the traditional flower bouquet, I prefer an Ikebana flower arrangement.
