We received over 1000 free mask orders in past week. All orders are processed and the envelopes will be mailed today. We do have to cancel some of the orders because the problem with address (not US 50 states, failed mailing address validation etc). If your order confirmation email shows status “completed”, then your masks are on the way. If the status is “on hold”, your order has been canceled.

CDC now recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Wearing cloth face masks is necessary to prevent the coronavirus from spreading between asymptomatic people. Face mask on top of social distancing could help control the pandemic sooner: more workers can go back to work sooner; Kids can go back to school sooner; people who lost their jobs can find new jobs sooner. Most important of all, save lives. Let’s do it. Let’s fight the coronavirus as a community. One person, one family at a time.

However, we SHOULD NOT use medical grade masks while health workers are still facing mask shortage. The 3-layer disposable masks listed here are factory made, but NOT medical grade and non FDA cleared. Hence NOT acceptable to local hospitals. We would like to offer the below disposable face masks for FREE to our community.

Remember, while face masks are helpful, there’s no substitute for social distancing!

Shipping:

We will use #10 envelopes to mail masks via USPS to US fifty states only. One envelope contains 2 masks. We won’t use plastic bag to pack the masks because Covid-19 virus might live longer on plastic than on paper– 4 days vs. 24 hours (according to the article from USA Today: How Long the coronavirus can live on surfaces).

Envelopes will be mailed as letters–no tracking available. We will email the shipping confirmation when the order is shipped.  We are located at Chicago suburb so if you don’t receive the masks in 7-10 days (depending on where you live) after the order is shipped, please place a new order and mention in the comment box that the 1st order is missing.

How to order

One order per household please while supply lasts. So we can help more people.

You don’t have to create an account with us to order. No Credit cards are needed. 

1. Scroll up to the top of this page, click “add to cart” button, then go to shopping cart by clicking the little cart icon on top right of the page.

2. Click “proceed to check out” button. The next page is the “Billing Details” page. You will need to enter name, address, phone# and email address.

3. Last step is to click “Place Order” button on right side of name and address. You will receive one maybe two email confirmation/invoice from Amy’s Store LLC (amy@amyestore.com) so you know the order is received. Please check “promotions” tab if you use gmail because my test order confirmation email went to there. 

Usage of information collected

We ONLY use your information provided in the order to ship the masks to you. We won’t call you (sorry the phone# is required field built in with the website and we don’t know how to disable it. It’s not required to get the free mask. You can enter 123-456-7890 if you like). The order info will be deleted after the pandemic is over (hopefully soon). We will post the note on this page once it’s done.

 

Terms and Conditions

The person who places the order (the “Recipient”) hereby acknowledges that the face masks (the “Products”) has received at no cost from Amy’s Store LLC (the “Donor”). Recipient agrees to use the products for coronavirus (Covid-19 virus) prevention and control.

Recipient accepts and agrees to all the the terms and conditions below (the “Terms”) by ordering the products. These Terms comprise the entire agreement between the parties, except as hereafter modified by Donor in writing and signed by Donor’s duly authorized representative. No terms, conditions or warranties other than those identified in these Terms, and no agreement or understanding, oral or written, in any way purporting to modify these Terms shall be binding on Donor unless hereafter made in writing and signed by Donor’s duly authorized representative. Recipient is hereby notified of Donor’s express rejection of any terms and conditions inconsistent with these Terms or to any other terms or conditions proposed by Recipient.

DONOR MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND AND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOST, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recipient agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Donor and its directors, officers, trustees, employees and agents from and against any loss, injury, death, damage, liability, claim, deficiency, action, judgment, interest, award, penalty, fine, cost, fees and expenses (including reasonable attorney and professional fees and costs, and the cost of enforcing any right to indemnification hereunder) arising out of, occurring in connection with, or in any way relating to the Products.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL DONOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF, OCCURRING IN CONNECTION WITH, OR IN ANY WAY RELATING TO THE PRODUCTS, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF RECIPIENT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
