The dragonfly wing is a basic hair bow with 2 larger loops and 2 smaller loops.

1. 1/4″ ribbon, cut 10.5″, measure 1″ from one end and fold. | 2. fold again as shown, So 2 big loops 2.75″ each, 2 small loops 2.25″ each, plus 0.25″ ease on both ends. Use the creases as guideline when folding the bow. | ||
3. right angle: for dragonfly | 4. wrong angle: for butterfly, loop too full | 5. adjust if needed so size of the loops are same | 6. |
7. | 8. | 9. back view. | 10. done. you can apply glue at the point of clip when you fold the bow (step 3,5,6,7,8). Or you can sew it together at this time. |

18. | 19. hot glue dragonfly on clip. Apply small amount glue on tail too. The difference between image 18 and 19 is the wing. Pick one you like. |
